From the beginning, the Ark has been about modularity and configurability.

We designed a number of standard parts and modules, which can be combined almost any way you want.
By combining these parts and modules the way you prefer, you should be able to assemble your ideal console.

We tried to make it as easy as possible, but there are a lot of options and possibilities.
You may need to read through the information on this website (sorry for that).

Please keep in mind that we’re only an email or phone call away.
So don’t hesitate to
contact us with any questions or for any assistance in putting together your perfect console.
Side note on production / orders / lead time.

The
Ark is completely hand-built, with an incredible eye for detail.
All modules, parts and components are checked, double checked and triple checked.

Assembled parts/modules come from different small manufacturers in Belgium, Germany and the UK.

Each of these manufacturers takes great pride in their work, and will go out of their way to make sure the part/module they assemble is 100% perfect.

The downside of this is that supplies are limited so we can only build a limited amount of consoles (or channels) a month.

Striving for the highest quality, we have no intention to change this production method, and definitely will not “go east”.

Depending on the amount of consoles we are building when you place your order, it may take months between order and actual delivery.

To allow us to better plan production, we offer a Pre-Order discount. The longer you order in advance, the higher the discount, the less you pay. Please contact us for details.

Ark example configurations.

Any combination of input buckets is possible.
8 inline channels with Mic Pre and EQ + 8 inline channels with Line / Group input and slots for 500-series + 8 stereo channels ?
16 stereo channels ?
32 channels with EQ ?

You decide.

Input channel buckets can be positioned on either side of the master section, in any configuration you like.

The practical limit is 64 channels (so 8 blocks of 8 input channels), which we think is largely sufficient for most uses.
(we can actually build a console with more than 64 channels, but that would require modifications to the busses and the power supply, which we’ll happily do on request).

Note that it is possible to expand an existing (installed) Ark8 console.
You can start small, and expand later. Adding extra buckets of 8 channels to an existing Ark8 console is probably easier than putting an Ikea cabinet together.

Below are some example configurations.
16 channel inline console with EQ and patchbay :

- 8x Mic/Line/DAW inputs with EQ
- master section with blank middle section
- double wide producer desk
- 8x Mic/Line/DAW inputs with EQ
- integrated 19” rails for patchbay and outboard
- all cabling internally to patchbay
